The International Association for the Protection of Athletes' Rights was established on September 21, 2020 by the International Union of Lawyers, the International Association for Sports Law, the Sports Against Drugs Foundation, as well as a number of outstanding Russian athletes (I. Ter-Ovanesyan, O. Brusnikina, T. Navkoy). Members of the organization can be attorneys, lawyers, professors and scientists in the field of sports law, as well as athletes, coaches, referees, heads of sports federations and other persons associated with professional sports.
The main task of our organization is to protect the rights of athletes from political interference, national and gender discrimination, religious intolerance, doping, match fixing, corruption and crime, as well as unfair sports sanctions and decisions of international, national organizations and the judiciary.
