Viktor Kamenkov, a Member of the IARA BoD and a Distinguished World-Renowned Scientist, Celebrates His 70th Birthday
Professor Victor Kamenkov plans to celebrate his 70th birthday on March 29, 2026. He has been a member of our organization since its inception (2020) and now chairs the Commission for the Resolution of Sports Conflicts and Disputes, Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration Procedures. He is always in touch with us and is a constant presence in our ranks. His life's work exemplifies noble service to the law, justice, and science. He served for many years in senior positions in the prosecutor's office, as Chairman of the Supreme Commercial Court of the Republic of Belarus, and as head of the Department of Financial Law and Legal Regulation at the Belarusian State University. He also headed the Republican Union of Lawyers, chaired arbitration courts at various levels, and served on numerous academic, methodological, and certification boards. He currently serves as Director of the International Scientific and Educational Center for Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration Procedures and represents the interests of the Republic of Belarus at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). He is also a renowned scholar in the field of sports law, having written numerous academic articles on sports issues and served as a member of the legal commission of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. Such an outstanding and distinguished person works for our organization. We wish Viktor Kamenkov long life, good health, and continued creative success in his fruitful and multifaceted scientific and social activities.
