The World-Renowned Sports Law Journal International Sports Law Review Pandektis Published an Article by Anatoly Peskov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA), Devoted to the Problems of Depoliticization of International Sports

The latest issue of the internationally renowned academic journal on sports law, International Sports Law Review Pandektis, has been published. It contains scholarly articles published following the 26th Congress of the International Association of Sports Law in Athens, Greece, 2024. The journal's contributors include such eminent scientists as Klaus Vieweg, András Nemes and Anna Di Giandomenico. This journal also featured an article by Anatoly Peskov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of our organization, "Globalization and the Problems of Depoliticization of International Sports." Anatoly Peskov, as always, is principled, fair, and stern in his assessments of the IOC's actions, which violated the rights of Russian and Belarusian athletes. He continues to firmly and convincingly defend the national dignity of Russian athletes and their right to compete under their national flag at international sporting competitions. He is a true Carbonari, a Freethinker, and a Revolutionary in matters of reforming the structure of international sports. We state without any irony that his proposed legal and organizational measures for the depoliticization of sport, including in the area of ​​international sports governance and sports courts, deserve discussion in the sports world. We thank the Editor-in-Chief of this journal, Honorary Chairman of the IARA Board of Directors, Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, for this publication. Professor Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos is a true representative of the world's first ancient Athenian democracy. He is not afraid to publish controversial articles and respects diverse points of view. We all respect and love him greatly. We also thank him for his outstanding and successful work as President of the International Association of Sports Law. We also wish the new President of the International Association of Sports Law, Honorary Member of the Board of Directors of our organization, Majed Garoub, a successful 27th IASL Congress on December 11-13, 2025, in Rome, Italy.
