INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF EDUCATION, HEALTH AND HUMAN MOVEMENT IN ROMANIA
18.06.2021The Congress was held at the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest (Romania). The Congress was attended by 154 scientists, graduate students and students from 17 countries of the world directly or online. The participants of the Congress focused on the themes of sports education, the unification of humanity and the creation of a sustainable world through sports, as well as ensuring the ethical standards and integrity of international sports. The participants of the Congress also discussed in seven sections the topics related to the best practices of professional sports training, the use of exclusive approaches to physical exercises, including for children with autism, as well as those related to certain sports (tennis, fencing, football).
The keynote speakers were the President of the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE, Germany) Professor Uri Schaefer (Israel), Professor Miguel Hernandez University of Elche Miguel Crespo (Spain) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA) Anatoly Peskov (Russia). All keynote speeches were interesting and were at the center of scientific discussions at the Congress.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of our organization Anatoly Peskov made a report on the topic: "Illegal bets and matches-fixing in international sports." He informed the participants of the Congress about the state of the fight against matches-fixing in the Russian Federation and international sports, made proposals to strengthen the fight against corruption in international sports.
The moderator of the Plenary session of the Congress was a world-renowned scientist Vice-Rector of the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest, Professor Monica Stanescu.
The rector of this largest and most prestigious sports university in Europe, Florin Pelin, headed the International Scientific Council of the Congress, which included well-known scientists and sports figures from many countries, including the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, President International Federation of University Sports Oleg Matytsin.
The Director of Communication and Foreign Relations of this university, a member of the IARA Board of Directors, the head of the branch of our organization in Romania, Professor Rares Stanescu headed the Organizing Committee of the Congress. Thanks to his personal active and fruitful work, the Congress was successful and at a high international and scientific level.
Undoubtedly, the Congress at the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest has become an important international event in the sports life not only of Romania, but of the entire international sports community in Eastern Europe.
We look forward to further cooperation between the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA) and the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest.
