Wolohan John
Professor Wolohan John is a Head of Sport Management Program at the Syracuse University and an Adjunct Professor in the Syracuse University College of Law (New York), a Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Principal Coordinator of the Commission on International Cooperation of the International Union of Lawyers. Elected a member of the Coordinating Council of the International Union of Lawyers in 2020.  Received law, history and sociological education at the University of Massachusetts and Western New England University. For over 25 years teaching sports law, specializing in intellectual property issues and the application of antitrust laws in professional sports, gaming law and the protection of sports press rights. Published about one thousand different scientific monographs, articles and scientific reports in various US and foreign editions. He is a regular contributor to the leading US sports law magazines “Marquette Sports Law Journal”, “Seton Hall Journal of Sports Law”, “Villanova Sports & Entertainment Law Journal”. One of the lead Editors of the book “Law for Recreation and Sport Managers” by Cotten and Wolohan. Professor Wolohan is a world-renowned scientist, actively involved in the activities of the International Association of Sports Law, the Asser Sports Law Institute, the Sports Business Association, the Sports Law Association of Australia and New Zealand, the European Sports Management Association, as well as in the activities of the American Bar Association, the North American Sports Management Society, the American Indoor Sports Association and United States Athletic Congress.
