Nafziger James
Professor Nafziger James is a world-renowned legal scholar, professor at  Willamette University (Oregon), Academician of the International Academy of Comparative Law, Adviser on international law of the US Department of State, Vice-President of the International Law Association, former President of its American Branch, Secretary and former Administrative Director of the American Society of International Law, taught at the National University of Mexico and many other universities. Honorary professor at the East China University of Politics and Law. He was one of the main founders of the International Association of Sports Law and headed this organization for a long time. Received the AISIMNITIS Award for Outstanding Academic Contribution to the Development of Sports Law from the University of Athens. He was a consultant to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Organization for Migration, Co-Director at the Centre for Studies and Research in the Hague Academy of International Law (Netherlands), Researcher at the Rockefeller Center in Italy, headed five sections and one seminar of the Association of American Law Schools. Author of 15 books and over 150 published articles.
