Ermakov Pavel, Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the IARA Standing Commission on the Psychological Settlement of Interpersonal Relations in International Sports, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, First Vice-President of the Russian Psychological Society, Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences (PhD), heads the Department of Psychophysiology and Clinical Psychology at the Southern Federal University. Academician Ermakov is known all over the world for his scientific research in the field of psychology of higher mental functions, educational psychology, management psychology and the psychology of interethnic relations. Recently, he has been actively engaged in research in the field of psychogenetics and neural networks in the human brain, promoting educational Russian psychological programs in the European market of educational services. Academician Ermakov is a full member of the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA), the International Organization for Psychophysiology (IOP), deputy editor-in-chief of the “Russian Psychological Journal”, member of the editorial boards of scientific foreign and Russian journals  "International Journal for Education, Research and Training", " Psychology in Russia: State of the Art", "Medical-biological and socio-psychological problems of safety in emergency situations" (all journals are included in the Scopus list). Academician Ermakov is fond of oriental martial arts, underwent sports training in the USA. He is the Vice-President of the Rostov Kyokushinkai Association, a karate coach, actively engaged in scientific research in the field of psychological training of athletes.
