Association

The International Association for the Protection of Athletes' Rights was established on September 21, 2020 by the International Union of Lawyers, the International Association for Sports Law, the Sports against Drugs Foundation, as well as a number of outstanding Russian athletes (I. Ter-Ovanesyan, O. Brusnikina, T. Navka). Members of the organization can be attorneys, lawyers, professors and scientists in the field of sports law, as well as athletes, coaches, referees, heads of sports federations and other persons associated with professional sports. The main task of our organization is to protect the rights of athletes from political interference, national and gender discrimination, religious intolerance, doping, match fixing, corruption and crime, as well as unfair sports sanctions and decisions of international, national organizations and the judiciary. Scientists and sports lawyers and athletes from all over the world unite to preserve international sport as a tool for the peace and integration of humanity, to protect the honor and dignity of athletes, their right to participate in international competitions, to belong their national and state identity, to get fair remuneration for labor free from exploitation, medical and retirement benefits. The rights of athletes can be protected only by caring and courageous people who take an active civil position. "If you want the world to change in the future, - wrote M. Gandhi, become yourself this change in the present". Join us. Together we will defeat evil, defend the dignity of athletes, achieve fair legal decisions and force all officials to respect the rights of athletes.
