Branch of the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA) opened in the United Arab Emirates

The Branch of the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA) in the United Arab Emirates will be headed by a well-known lawyer in the Middle East Zayed Al Shamsi. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal (EALL), also the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee at the National Human Rights Institution and the Emirates Center for Human Rights Studies. He is an active attorney at law, a commercial arbitrator and heads the law firm Zayed Al Shamsi Advocates and Legal Consultants.

In addition, Mr. Zayed Al Shamsi is the Vice-President of the European Union of Lawyers, a member of the Executive Committee of the Lawyers International Islamic Organization (LIIO) and the Arab Union of Lawyers. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, the Union of International Electronic Media, the American Bar Association and the Scientific Council of the American University in the Emirates. Mr. Shamsi graduated from the Dubai Police Academy, worked for a long time as Deputy Prosecutor General in Dubai and he was also the first Vice-President of the International Federation of Jurists.
