The Board of Directors of the International Athlete Rights Association (IARA BoD) Approved a New Version of the Charter of our Organization and Opened New Offices in the Regions of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation

The IARA BoD recently hosted an interesting exchange of views on topical issues of international sports and the development of our Organization. Professors Di Giandomenico (Italy), Hamakawa (USA), Iriarte (Spain), Iglin (Russia), Kamenkov (Belarus) took an active part in the discussion.

As a result of the discussion, the BoD approved a new version of the Charter of our Organization (in the near future, a new version of the Charter will be posted on the IARA website). In particular, the BoD approved a new structure of the organization: Branch, Branch Office and Representative Office, introduced new positions of the General Secretary of the Organization and positions of Deputies Chairman of the BoD. The new version of the Charter of our Organization emphasizes the role of IARA as a peacekeeping and non-political Organization, with the goal of uniting athletes from different countries in the name of world peace.

The BoD approved the transformation of the Rostov Department of the Organization into a Branch of the Southern Federal District. Oleg Zakharov has been appointed as the head of the IARA Branch in the Southern Federal District in Russia and at the same time Deputy Chairman of the IARA BoD. He is one of the most active BOD members, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Sports Disciplines of the Academy of Physical Culture and Sports of the Southern Federal University, a coach of the highest category and an international category referee on Kyokushinkai.

 The BoD also approved the opening of offices of this branch in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as in the Astrakhan and Rostov Regions, and appointed the heads of the new offices in:

   Astrakhan region, a lawyer, assistant to the President of the Regional Kyokushinkai Federation Bylina Larisa;

   Rostov region, a lawyer and mediator, a member of the International Association of Coaches and Trainers IPACT Lukyanov Ilya;

   Krasnodar Territory, a lawyer, the head of the regional karate federation, black belt holder Lobanov Sergey.

In addition, the BoD appointed Vladimir Tsypulin, Honored Coach of Russia, and President of the Healthy Generation Sports Programs Fund, as an Adviser to the Chairman of the BoD and instructed Mr. Tsypulin to represent the interests of our Organization in new Russian territories, the international status of which has not yet been determined.

The IARA BoD supported the general course of our Organization to strengthen the protection of the dignity and equality of the rights of athletes from all countries, to intensify the struggle for peace on our planet in order to prevent the Third World War.
